No one knows exactly when #Freemasonry began. The first written reference appeared in 1356 when a Code of Mason Regulations was formally drawn up at the Guildhall in London, England. Some historians believe that the brotherhood dates back to guilds of stonemasons and craftsmen, perhaps even as early as Ancient Egypt!
